Effortlessly Download M3U8 HLS Streams with this Chrome Extension

Not working on Tik_Tok anymore!

Not sure where the recent complaints are coming from. Yes, it sometimes doesn't properly detect SD/HD, but it works perfectly. You have to use your brain and pick the file that has the largest file size to get the full video/audio stream to download; other than those small things, this extension has been working perfectly.

Used to work flawlessly on Douyin live streams but now it only detects and downloads AUDIO streams. The saved file does not have a video stream. It used to be able to detect the original, highest-quality stream, as well as HD and SD video streams but now does not find ANY of those.

Stopped working on chrome/chromium based 128, doesnt grab Twitch (and other websites) m3u8 links anymore.

it's really useful. it can download website video, pornhub, jable and so on.

Needed to download university lecture recordings for offline watching, this ended up working perfectly. You still need to understand a little about how it detects a video stream and which of the options you want to download, but I think this will only make it more versatile for unusual use cases. I can definitely see myself using this more in the future to quickly fetch video streams from the internet!

Tried this one on a 30 minute tv show. Couldn't see a way to choose the resolution I wanted. I clicked the download button and a big window opened - all it said was to not close the window. No other infor was seen. A progress bar would have been nice :/ In less than 5 mins the show was in my pc folder and the file played through. So it's fast - I'll give it that. I'll play around with it some more and read up on it.

this stopped working on my chrome as of 24/01/15. It still downloads the stream as .flv , but I can't play the media on my computer (audio only) ? hopefully they're fixing it soon ?? (THIS EXTENSION WAS SO GOOD)
